British supergroup Oasis has announced its much-anticipated Australian tour dates shortly after selling out in the United States in the space of an hour.

Oasis on Tuesday revealed they will play shows at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on October 31, 2025 and Sydney’s Accor Stadium on November 7.

Registration for tickets is open now for a 24-hour period before they officially go on sale on October 15.There will be a limit of four tickets per person.

An artist pre-sale will take place on October 14

“People of the land down under, ‘you better run-you better take cover.’ We are coming. You are most welcome,” the band said in a statement.

The Australian leg of the Oasis Live ’25 tour, presented by the Australian and New Zealand arm of global touring titan Live Nation, will not be subjected to the controversial practice of dynamic pricing.

Live Nation confirmed to ABC’s Double J radio that Oasis will take the same stance to pricing as they for their US shows.

Dynamic pricing, used by some ticket agents, is designed to decrease scalping by adjusting prices based on market demand.

While this reduces third party sales, it can lead to huge prices for hotly-contested tickets.

Oasis’s management said dynamic pricing caused “an unacceptable experience for fans” after 10 million people from 158 countries logged on to purchase tickets to the band’s UK and Ireland shows earlier this year.

Ticket sales for the UK and Ireland dates created hours-long online queues as fan frustration with dynamic pricing – which saw some ticked double in price – sparked calls for an investigation into Ticketmaster.

The Britpop group announced their reunion in August following a long-standing feud between Liam and Noel after the band split in 2009 – prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in France.

US sell out

Oasis fans snatched up half a million tickets in just an hour as their North American tour dates immediately sold out.

That came after the band’s string of 19 UK and Ireland dates sold out – including two extra Wembley shows – as fans complained over inflated prices.

Oasis announced its first international dates for their reunion tour last week, but tickets for the the shows in Toronto, Chicago, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Mexico City were rapidly snapped up.

It will be the first time that Oasis have performed in North America and Mexico since 2008 when they toured their seventh studio album Dig Out Your Soul – which was brought to an abrupt end the following year when Noel Gallagher quit the band in the wake of a backstage bust-up with younger brother Liam as they were due to perform in Paris.

Merch madness

Meanwhile, the Gallagher brothers are set to cash in on the reunion tour with a string of merchandise and have “covered everything” from fly swatters to ironing boards with their new trademark.

A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “They have big plans for merchandise.

“Millions of people wanted to get tickets to the shows and Oasis know they’ll also be splashing the cash on branded stuff.

“The new trademark is for Oasis Live ’25 and covers everything.

“Clothes pegs and Christmas wreaths, deodorants and moisturisers are also listed.”

Liam has also joked about the prospect of Oasis going on an “old dears” tour with Britpop rivals Blur.

The 52-year-old musician posted on X in reply to a fan: “I love Blur and at some point we have to do n old dears tour (sic).”
