Man dies in car after reported suburban shooting
A crime scene was established in Sydney after a man was found with bullet injuries inside a car.
Police are investigating a potential homicide after a man was found in a car with fatal injuries following reports of a shooting in Sydney’s north-west.
Emergency services were called to North Rocks Road, Carlingford, shortly after 7am on Wednesday.
Officers from The Hills Police Area Command found the man, aged in his 30s, with significant injuries inside a car.
He was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries continued police said.
North Rocks Road remained closed at 9am with the public urged to avoid the area.
