Britpop band Oasis, fronted by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, has announced a new 38-date world tour, extending their reunion with shows across Britain, Europe and the US.

“Start the celebrations!” the band wrote on social media, adding they would “once again return to lift the ‌spirits of the people”.

The Live ’27 tour will run from May to September 2027, according to the announcement. Stops include France, Germany, Spain, Ireland and Italy.

Oasis split in 2009 and the Gallagher brothers subsequently traded public insults for years.

Fans have long hoped for further shows after 2025’s successful reunion tour, and the band repeatedly hinted on social media that more concerts could be in the works, including by teasing possible tour locations.

The 2025 reunion tour took the band to venues across Britain, Ireland, the US, Canada, South America, Japan and elsewhere.

To avoid a repeat of a ticketing fiasco in Oasis’ 2025 comeback, fans can register to access a window to buy tickets for the 2027 dates.

Standard ticket prices for the new tour will be fixed and range between £71.50 and £266.60 ($A135-$A500), promoters said.

The band’s history and long-awaited reunion are also the subject of the documentary Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger, which explores the brothers’ return to the stage after years apart.

The two most recently appeared together at the world premiere at the Venice Film Festival – and, in classic Gallagher fashion, skipped the press conference.

Oasis rose to fame more than 30 years ago with their 1994 debut album, Definitely Maybe. Their second album, 1995’s (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, featuring hits such as Wonderwall, cemented the band’s status as global stars.
