Blondie will release its first album in nine years, featuring the final recording with drummer Clem Burke.

The new record, High Noon, will be released in February 2027 and will feature contributions from Johnny Marr, Glen Matlock, Zach Condon of Beirut, Lucius and others.

Fronted by singer Debbie Harry, the band has also released a single, Spectral Eyes, written by Marr, who also contributed guitar.

The band’s 12th studio album marks the final recording with Burke, who died in April 2025 aged 70 after a cancer diagnosis. The drummer performed on classic tracks such as Call Me, Heart of Glass and One Way or Another.

“This album is classic Blondie – an amalgamation of all our different influences and eras into something new,” Harry said.

“This music feels grounded in the present, shaped by who we are and how we’re living now.”

Guitarist Chris Stein added: “It’s been a long, strange ride, and somehow here we are with another Blondie album.”

High Noon will be released on February 26, 2027.
