Today we’re launching The Money Edition, a new publication from Solstice Media designed to make business, finance and the economy easier to understand.

Most Australians do not follow markets for a living. But financial markets, interest rates, government policy, property prices and business decisions still shape our lives.

They affect mortgages, rents, super balances, wages, savings, investments and the cost of everyday goods.

The Money Edition is built around explaining those connections.

We’ll cover what is happening across the economy, markets, business, property and personal finance, but the focus will always be on what it means for readers.

That means fewer stories that stop at the headline number and more that answer the questions that follow.

Our first edition reflects that approach, with stories on superannuation, interest rates, artificial intelligence and the workplace, property and global markets.

We’ll publish twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with contributions from experienced journalists and specialists across finance, economics and business.
