With Easter fast approaching, so is the annual rush to gather your long weekend supplies.

Whether it’s ingredients for a family get-together, those last-minute Easter eggs or just some pantry essentials, you’ll need to be aware of the changing trading hours over the break.

Supermarkets won’t be closed the entire long weekend, but there might be a day or two when you won’t be able to replenish supplies.

Good Friday

Closed nationwide, except for select stores in Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.

Easter Saturday

Open nationwide, apart from select Metro stores in capital cities. Trading hours may be reduced.

Easter Sunday

All stores open in Queensland, Victoria, WA and Tasmania.

Handful of stores open in NSW, South Australia, the ACT and Northern Territory.

Easter Monday

All stores open in Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland, WA, NSW and the ACT.
