A Virgin Australia plane has been damaged after colliding with a towing vehicle at Melbourneâs Tullamarine Airport.
The incident occurred as the Boeing 737 was being towed to a hangar for maintenance on Sunday night.

The tug hit the side of the plane, tearing a large gash.
Repairs were under way on Monday.
âThere were no passengers on board,â a Melbourne Airport spokesman told News Corp.
âAn investigation is under way, and the relevant authorities have been notified.â
