Mexican keeper irate after incredible blunder
Goalkeeping blunders don’t get more ridiculous than this.
That’s what the keeper of Mexican second-division side Zacatepec, Javier Caso, will be arguing anyway.
The truly laughable mishap occurred just after he’d comfortably saved a free kick, in a game against Necaxa.

With his side winning 1-0, Caso charged from the goal to throw the ball downfield and launch an attack.
Only problem was the throw sensationally deflected off a rival player’s head and back into the net for a goal.
Fair to say the the goal scorer, Rodrigo Prieto was surprised, however he was only too happy to take the cheap goal.
Caso remonstrated, arguing he’d been purposefully obstructed by Prieto. But the officials were having none of it.
The goal stood and Necaxa went on to win the game 3-1.
