This week, actor Daniel Radcliffe was honoured at the Tony Awards and some bear cubs found a delightful way to entertain themselves.
There was also a pair of dogs who managed to be very good after they had been very bad – and some rather bizarre bin chickens were out and about.
The hug
Jonathon Groff won his first Tony Award this week and no one was happier about it than his co-star, Radcliffe.
As Groff made his way to the stage to collect his Tony for his role as Franklin Shepard in the musical Merrily We Roll Along, co-star Radcliffe came running up the aisle to give him a huge hug.

After receiving his trophy for featured actor for his own role in Merrily We Roll Along, Radcliffe was filmed gleefully spinning the top of it, clearly having the time of his life.
Windy Eras show
Taylor Swift is still on the road, in Britain now.
In Liverpool, Swift’s back-up dancers literally had to have each other’s backs during the opening “era”. The opening song features the dancers strapped to fan-like tapestries, which were no match for Britain’s wind.

Bridgerton cast dance
Stars of the period-romance show Bridgerton took a break from filming to dance to Beyoncé’s hit CUFF IT, while in period costume.
Several of the cast shared the cute behind-the-scenes videos, delighting fans.
Man’s highrise meltdown
This week in New York City, a man stood on top of a high-rise building and started throwing furniture and cement blocks down to the street below.
CNN reported that the Florida man was later arrested for reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.

Spot the snake
Many things are described as “a parent’s worst nightmare”, but this will surely go close.
A venomous red-bellied black snake was discovered hidden among the toys on a little girl’s bed.
The Queensland family called a snake catcher to remove and relocate the snake. Thankfully, no one was hurt or bitten and the snake lived to tell its own tale.

Flying tent
A couple would have had a rough night in the wilderness after their tent flew away.
After setting up their tent in a remote part of the US’s Washington state, this couple went for a bush walk, only to spot their tent up in the air.

Bin chickens
Language warning: Bin chickens got terrifying when people on stilts dressed up as them and wandered around Perth.
The giant bin chickens flapped their “wings” as they walked, catching the eye of shoppers and other passersby. But they didn’t seem too interested in getting stuck into the rubbish.

Jumping bears
Mischievous bears are still at it.
This time, a couple of cubs made like children and climbed onto a trampoline in Canada.
One of the bears fell and, on getting back up, clearly couldn’t find its way back through the mesh. It just ran around the perimeter until it fell again.

Time out
These two very bad dogs were sent into time-out after causing a huge mess at home.
You could argue that while making such a mess is a bad thing to do, they are still good dogs for sitting so still in their respective naughty corners.
