Results of the RBA executive salaries poll

RBA governor Michele Bullock was paid over $1.2 million in the past financial year, while deputy governor received almost a million. Is that too much?

• Yes – taxpayers shouldn’t be asked to pay that much – 63%
• Not sure – but it’s not a great look at a time of rising rates, stagnant wages and growing unemployment – 22%
• No – given the responsibility they have, that amount seems like a bargain – 15%
