Have your say on the federal govt’s gun buyback scheme

Results of the poll on students’ anti-Hanson protest

Thousands of high school students across Australia walked out of class last Thursday to march in protests against One Nation leader Pauline Hanson. Is this reasonable?

  • Yes – these are the voters of tomorrow and they should be able to express their views, just like adult Australians – 69%
  • No – students would be best to remain in the classroom to make the most of their chances of securing a decent future – 18%
  • Maybe – it’s clearly not the best use of students’ time but the right to protest is important – 12%
