British police hunting a jogger who knocked a woman into the path of a bus on Putney Bridge have arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
The arrest was made at a property in Chelsea, west London, on Thursday morning following a “good response” from a public appeal to catch the suspect.
CCTV showed the bus swerving, narrowly avoiding the 33-year-old woman, who suffered minor injuries, at around on Friday morning on May 5.
Some 15 minutes later, the suspect passed his victim again on the bridge, going the other way, and ignored her when she tried to talk to him, police said.
Officers continue to appeal for witnesses.
