London police have released dramatic footage of the moment a jogger appears to push a woman into the path of an oncoming bus, causing a near catastrophe.
The 33-year-old woman was walking across Putney Bridge in south-west London, when a male jogger appeared to knock her over onto the road and into the path of an oncoming bus.
The woman was saved only by the lightning-fast reactions of the driver who swerved to narrowly miss the woman.
The bus stopped, with some passengers rushing to the aid of the victim who received only minor injuries.

Police say about 15 minutes later, the jogger came back the other way across the bridge. The victim tried to engage with the jogger who refused to even acknowledge the woman and carried on jogging.
“The victim was put in extreme danger when she was knocked into the road,” Sergeant Mat Knowles, the investigating officer from London Metropolitan Police, said.
“It was only due to the superb quick reactions of the bus driver that she was not hit by the vehicle.
Police are keen to speak to the jogger in the CCTV about what happened in the incident, in early May.
“We would urge him or anyone who recognises him to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
