A man caught on dashcam footage forcing fellow motorists off a busy motorway by driving on the wrong side of the road has been charged by police.
Dashcam footage taken on Sunday showed a Nissan Skyline GTR speeding into oncoming traffic and forcing cars into the breakdown lane along Cessnock Road at Gillieston Heights, New South Wales.
In the video, the car is seen serving into the left hand lane in an attempt to overtake a car, before crossing to the wrong side of the two-lane road, passing several cars.
The Nissan quickly cut from side to side, forcing two cars into the grass on the side of the road.

“This happened today heading towards Maitland from Heddon Greta,” wrote Jess Green, who posted the video on Facebook. “Some people need to wake up!
“We are a week out from Christmas and you … put so many people in harms way! I hope the cops get you.”
The dashcam footage has been viewed more than 14,000 times.
According to police, the incident occurred at 11.35am and the 39-year-old man was arrested on Maitland Road about an hour later.
He was charged with driving in a manner dangerous, negligent driving, overtaking to the left of a vehicle, and not keeping left of a dividing line.
The man was taken to Cessnock Hospital for mandatory urine and blood testing.
He was granted bail and will appear at Kurri Kurri Local Court on January 11.
