The mysterious case of Prince Andrew’s accuser, Virginia Giuffre, has taken another turn as she fights a criminal case in Western Australia.

Giuffre made headlines around the world last week with a bizarre social media post in which she said doctors had told her she had only days to live.

She shared a photo on Instagram showing her face with what appeared to be extensive bruising.

In the post, she said she had been involved in a bus crash, was hospitalised with kidney renal failure and had four days to live.

On Wednesday, it emerged that Giuffre was still very much alive and involved in a family violence case after being accused of breaching a restraining order.

The 41-year-old wasn’t required to appear when her case was briefly mentioned in Joondalup Magistrates Court in Perth where she has been living.

Giuffre’s lawyer Karrie Louden on Wednesday requested an adjournment until June 11. She told Magistrate Andrew Maughan that negotiations with prosecutors were continuing over the alleged incident in the suburb of Ocean Reef on February 2.

Asked by Maughan why discussions were taking so long, Louden said she was “quite busy” with other cases.

Maughan granted the extension and said a plea would need to be entered when the case returned to court.

It was previously mentioned in court on March 14.

Also on Wednesday, Giuffre was photographed for the for first time since her post as she pulled into a feed store north of Perth.

The Daily Mail snapped photos of her in a blue Chevrolet Silverado being driven by a bearded man about 3.30pm local time, near her rural retreat at Neergabby.

After last week’s unusual social media post, a spokesperson said Giuffre was in serious condition in hospital and provided details about the bus crash on March 24 in a rural area of Western Australia.

He said a school bus hit the car she was travelling in and that although police were called none were available to come to the scene.

“Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home,” the statement said.

“Virginia’s condition worsened and she was admitted to the hospital.”

The spokesman also said Giuffre thanked “everyone for the outpouring of love and support” and that she had intended to publish her social media post on a private Facebook page.

Outside court, Louden told a large media pack that Giuffre had been released from hospital and was expected to give an update about her condition soon.

Prince Andrew paid millions of dollars to Giuffre in 2022 to settle a civil case out of court after she accused him of sexually assaulting her when she was 17. The King’s younger brother strenuously denies her allegations.

Giuffre also sued US financier and convicted paedophile Epstein saying he sexually abused her and pressured her into have sex with prominent figures within his social orbit.
