Airline staff have reportedly been forced to intervene after an ugly midair brawl between passengers over a reclined seat.
The row was reportedly sparked on a Jetstar flight to Bali from Melbourne on Saturday.
Footage from the plane shows one man arguing with passengers who are seated behind him.
“Do you think this is enough? … Do you think one of us is going to f—ing die?” a man can be heard saying in the footage, which is circulating on X and Instagram.
As another man stands up and moves in his direction, he is quickly returned to his seat when airline crew and other travellers intervene.
“Hey, that’s enough,” one woman yells, while other passengers are heard saying “no”.
Jetstar said it was investigating the onboard incident.

Just days later there was another midair drama on a Jetstar flight to Bali, when a woman tried to open the cabin door at 33,000 feet (10,000 metres).
The Jetstar JQ-34 flight from Bali to Melbourne was forced to turn back about two hours into the trip when the mid-flight emergency unfolded on Monday night.
Jetstar said a “disruptive passenger attempted to open one of the aircraft doors and was abusive to our crew”.
“The safety and welfare of our customers and crew is our top priority and we thank them for the way they responded to the situation,” the budget airline said.
“This sort of unacceptable behaviour will never be tolerated on our flights.”
The passenger was reportedly removed from the aircraft and taken into custody in Bali.
Survivor All Star contestant Brooke Jowett was on the plane and described what happened.
“Good morning everybody, I had a lovely three-hour sleep,” Jowett said in an Instagram story.
“We got back to a hotel at about 1am after our lovely night, and our scare on the flight.
“Turns out the reason behind the lady wanting to open the door is because she wanted to sit in a different row and have a chair that could recline.
“She decided to try to open the doors, which apparently triggered something to do with the emergency slide and yeah, it was a big bloody big panic. It was very, very scary but we’re fine.”
Jowett said the woman argued with crew about her seat and was “very unhappy” and “decided she wanted to get off”.
“But we were more than an hour into the flight over the ocean and, yeah, we all got told to put our seatbelts on immediately. Very freaky,” she said.
“One of the guys who was sitting in front of us was down near the toilets and he pulled her away from the door as she was trying to open it.
“He was an off-duty police officer apparently, so he saved the day. Thank God for that.
“But yeah, don’t know what would have happened otherwise. I know there’s a few security measures, but it wasn’t fun.”
TV and radio presenter Jacqui Felgate was also on the flight and said it was a “nightmare”.
“Had to turn around and land back in Bali for her to get arrested,” she posted to Instagram.
“260 angry and scared passengers. Police escorted her off the plane.”
Felgate recorded the captain’s message to passengers about the “unpleasant” ordeal.
“A lady down the back of the aircraft tried to physically open the door, she lifted the handle,” he said in the recording.
“We got a door warning at the front of the aircraft.
“We don’t know why this was an event but unfortunately the safest course of action was to come back here and to return to land.”
