Man, 29, shot in second western Sydney shooting in two days

A second man in two days has been shot in the head and chest while sitting in a car in western Sydney.
The 29-year-old was reportedly in a Holden on a driveway in the suburb of Blackett when he was hit by gunfire on Wednesday night.
Media at the scene on Niland Crescent reported bullet holes in the vehicle’s windscreen.
The man suffered gunshot wounds to the face, chest and abdomen when an assailant opened fire about 9pm.
The victim was treated at the scene and taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.
It was the second western suburbs shooting in two days, with attackers from both hits still at large.
On Tuesday night, a man was shot in the head and chest in a south-western Sydney carpark.
The 27-year-old was peppered in bullets in the shooting on Canterbury Road, Campsie. He survived and remains in hospital.
