Actor Selena Gomez has married her producer boyfriend Benny Blanco.
The 33-year-old singer-and-actress and the 37-year-old music producer tied the knot in California on Saturday (local time) after two years of dating.
The Only Murders in the Building star took to Instagram to show off some photos and video footage from their big day. Her post was simply captioned with the date, which had two white heart emojis either side.
The post included a clip of Gomez straightening Blanco’s bow tie before giving him a kiss, and photos of him lying with his head in her lap as she sits on the ground, the newlyweds embracing, a close-up of the bride’s white flowers and another of her rings.
Blanco also shared some happy snaps of the couple together, including their rings and a photo of them in bed together.
“I married a real life Disney princess,” he wrote on Instagram.
Gomez rose to fame through the Disney Channel, staring in projects such as Wizards of Waverly Place and Princess Protection Program.
Vogue reports the couple’s nuptials were held at the lush Sea Crest Nursery in Santa Barbara on Saturday. Among the 170 guests were Taylor Swift (a long-time friend of Gomez), Paris Hilton, Ed Sheeran, and Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short.
The happy couple both wore Ralph Lauren, with Blanco in a black tuxedo and his new wide in a white dress with a halter-style bodice, floral detailing and an open back.
Ahead of the wedding, Gomez enjoyed a bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in August. Blanco had his own celebration in Las Vegas.
Gomez recently praised Blanco – who proposed to her in December – for helping her to feel “very normal”.
“I appreciate his heart, his kindness, his quirks … He’s one of the most grounding people in my life, and he makes me feel very normal,” she told Allure.
Although the pair were friends long before they became romantically involved, Gomez didn’t think she’d have been “mature enough” to have dated Blanco until the past few years.
“I don’t think I would have been remotely mature enough,” she said of her personal evolution.
“It’s weird to think that only five years ago I wouldn’t have been in the right place, but I’ve learned so many lessons since then that led me to being the best partner I could be for Benny. And I believe the same with him.
“He’ll say, ‘Gosh, why did we waste so much time?’. And I always say, ‘You wouldn’t have liked me back then’. I was all over the place.”
