Hugh Jackman is among the Australian celebrities returning Down Under over Christmas to celebrate the festive season in the sun.
The Wolverine star was spotted taking a dip at Bondi Beach a week out from Christmas.
Although Jackman spends most of his time living in the US, he has amassed an impressive property portfolio, including a luxury penthouse at North Bondi.
The actor has owned the property for almost a decade after purchasing it for $5.925 million in 2015.
Positioned just a stone’s throw from Bondi Beach, the sprawling three-bedroom penthouse offers vast views across the beach and ocean.

It is one of six apartments in the complex, and it is estimated that the property could now be worth as much as $12 million.
And if you fancy spending the night at Hugh’s luxury beachside pad, it is listed on short-term rental sites.
A stay at the property will set you back a fair chunk of change, though.
The nightly rate is $2500 during the summer months.
So what will that get you?
The apartment is set across 210 square metres with panoramic views and high-end finishes.
A large open-plan living and dining space is ideal for entertaining, with stacker glass panel doors opening to the balcony.

Should Keith Urban and his wife Nicole Kidman choose to spend their Christmas break in Australia, the couple have a choice of luxury homes.

In the past 10 years, the country singer and Oscar winner have splurged millions on real estate, including six apartments in a harbourside complex in Milsons Point.
The total cost for the six properties is around $27.5 million.

If they decide on a change of pace, Keith and Nicole can jump in the car and drive to their sprawling Southern Highlands estate.
The couple purchased the historic 45-hectare property in Sutton Forest in 2008 for $6.5 million.
Known as Bunya Hill Estate, the former black Angus cattle stud includes a circa 1878 Georgian mansion with period features such as pressed metal ceilings, a grand carved cedar staircase and 10 marble fireplaces.

Since taking ownership of the property, updates have included an 18-metre swimming pool, a gym and a full-sized tennis court.
Since announcing plans to ditch living in the UK and return home permanently in 2021, pop star Kylie Minogue has set up a new life in Australia.

In 2022, it was revealed that the singer had spent $8 million on a lavish four-bedroom house in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
