Whether you’re planning to spend the Easter long weekend conducting backyard Easter egg hunts or catching up with friends, you’re probably keen to find out what the skies have in store.

Well, Australia is in for a warm weekend, with beach weather in Perth and Adelaide in particular.

Other capital cities won’t be so lucky, with Brisbane and Darwin likely to see wet and possibly stormy weather despite high temperatures.

With days to go until Easter, forecasts can still change.

Good Friday: Maximum temperature of 25 degrees. Partly cloudy and a slight chance of a shower in the morning and early afternoon.

Easter Saturday: Maximum temperature of 26 degrees. Sunny.

Easter Sunday: Maximum temperature of 26 degrees. Partly cloudy.

Easter Monday: Maximum temperature of 27 degrees. Partly cloudy.

Melbourne

Good Friday: Maximum temperature of 25 degrees. Chance of fog in the morning, followed by a sunny afternoon.

Easter Saturday: Maximum temperature of 25 degrees. Mostly sunny.

Easter Sunday: Maximum temperature of 24 degrees. Partly cloudy.

Easter Monday: Maximum temperature of 23 degrees. Partly cloudy, with a medium chance of showers later in the day.

Brisbane
