Trade balance in deficit

Australia’s trade balance remained in the red with a deficit of $1.359 billion in July.
That followed a deficit of $1.564 billion in June.
Economists had expected a deficit of $1.75 billion in July.
Exports rose 1.0 per cent, while imports were flat, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Thursday.
