A popular snack range has been pulled from the shelves of supermarkets and convenience outlets across Australia.

The Harvest Snaps Baked Pea Crisps, in varying weights and two flavours, have been recalled because of an undeclared soy allergen.

“Any consumers who have a soy allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” Food Standards Australia and New Zealand said on Tuesday.

“Consumers who have a soy allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”

The affected snacks are made by Calbee Australia and have been for sale nationwide since June 6 at Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Costco, IGA and Amazon. They have also been sold at petrol and convenience outlets, including 7-Eleven, and some independent retailers.

The affected snacks are the original salted (in 120-gram, 200-gram, 230-gram, five x 18-gram and 50 x 18-gram packets) and the salt and vinegar (in 120-gram and 230-gram packets).

They are marked with best-before dates of: 25/01/2025, 26/01/2025 and 29/01/2025.

FSANZ said consumers should return the products to where they bought them, for a full refund.
