Two products from a popular brand of barbecue marinades sold across the country have been recalled.

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand has issued the recall notice for two O’Food Korean barbecue sauces sold at Woolworths, Coles, Asian grocers and independent retailers, including IGA.

They are the O’Food Korean BBQ Bulgogi Beef Marinade, 280 grams, with a best-before date of 16/04/2025 and the same brand’s BBQ Spicy Pork Marinade, also 280 grams, with a best-before date of 10/03/2025.

The sauces have been incorrectly labelled as being gluten-free.

“Consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance should not consume these products. Consumers should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” FSANZ said.

“Any consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the products are consumed.”

The sauces are distributed by Han Yang Import and Export, which trades as ByAsia Food.

More information is available from the company on (02) 9648 5678 or from its website.

Details are also available from FSANZ.
