Everyone’s been talking about Jake Gyllenhaal’s seriously buff body in his new movie Southpaw and now the actor has revealed exactly how he got it.
According to the 34-year-old, all it takes is six hours of training a day plus 1000 sit-ups in the morning and 1000 sit-ups before bed. Easy.

Gyllenhaal cut a much slimmer figure in Nightcrawler.
Gyllenhaal packed on over 6 kg of pure muscle to play the role of fictional boxer Billy Hope in the film.
The transformation is even more remarkable when you consider he had to lose more than 13 kg for his last role in Nightcrawler.
“I just trained like a boxer. As you learn the skills that stuff just happens in your mind and body,” he told BBC Radio.
He said he had to work tirelessly to learn the art of boxing as much of the movie’s fight scenes used real punches for authenticity.
“I knew nothing about boxing when I started really,” Gyllenhaal told Entertainment Tonight.
“I knew that in order for me to pull it off in any way, I was just going to have to learn how to do it.”
And if you want to see an inspirational montage of Gyllenhaal mid work-out – all beard, braun, man-bun and sweat – Entertainment Tonight has granted your wish.
