Cristiano Ronaldo and his rumoured fiancee, supermodel Irina Shayk, have posed in a steamy shoot for the cover of Spanish Vogue‘s June issue.

In a Vogue first, Ronaldo, 29, is completely naked on the cover, his modesty only maintained by the artful placement of his 28-year-old girlfriend.

Ronaldo, the forward for Real Madrid, and Shayk, a Sports Illustrated model, have been dating since 2010.

The cover line ‘Amor & Fútbol’ translates to ‘Love and Football’ and the shoot comes soon after the couple featured together in a viral football ad for Nike.

The image is reminiscent of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s cover for American Vogue, except a little less clothed. On their respective covers, both Kardashian and Shayk stand in front of their significant other and are dressed in a white gown.
