The Daily Deuce: Day ten

Is David Ferrer a bad person?
He was knocked out yesterday by Tomas Berdych, but Spaniard David Ferrer lost more than the match. The respect of his fans is at risk after Ferrer shoved a linesman out of the way to get to his towel. As is the nature of the internet, the moment was quickly turned into a gif:
Turns out this isn’t the first time Ferrer has misbehaved during a match. Videos and photos started emerging from the woodwork post-incident, revealing him to perhaps be a less than fair player. Of the linesman incident, Ferrer told press:
“It was nothing…I have the towel there. It was nervous moment, but nothing. I say to him, ‘excuse me’ after that. Nothing special.”
Make up your own mind.
Woman of little words
Agnieszka Radwanska, the woman of the unpronounceable first and last name, has progressed to the semi-finals after beating tournament favourite, Victoria Azarenka. It’s the first time Radwanska has made it to the semis of the Australian Open and it’s a huge achievement for the 24 year-old. Her latest tweet sums it up pretty well, so we’ll let her take it from here:

Face-off
There are fans, and then there are these fans. Ladies and gentlemen, we present the painted faces of the Open.
Stan the man
Just in case he didn’t work hard enough in last night’s epic five-set win over Novak Djokovic, Stanislas Wawrinka hit the gym today to work on his physique. The best part? He treated all of his newfound fans to what is known by Gen-Yers as a “gym selfie” proving once again that the Stanimal is a man of the people.

Stretch it out
During his match against Nadal today, Grigor Dimitrov provided the crowd with an entertaining side-show as he appeared to attempt the splits. Apparently what he was really doing was stretching out his groin. Either way, it still looks funny.
