Former Titans trio pleads guilty to drug charges

Three former Gold Coast Titans have pleaded guilty to multiple drug charges in a Southport District Court, Queensland, on Friday.
Dave Taylor, Joe Vickery and Jamie Dowling were charged with cocaine possession, along with five other former teammates as part of the scandal.
Taylor, a former State or Origin player, pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing cocaine in late 2014.
He appeared via video link from Europe, where he plays for French rugby club Catalans, and will be sentenced when he returns to Australia in November.
Vickery entered a plea of guilty to six counts of drug possession, while Dowling pleaded guilty to seven counts of possession and two of supply.
Both will be sentenced next month.
Vickery and Taylor faced supply charges, but those charges were dropped in July.
Several other Titans players had been charged last year, but the charges were since dropped.
