Eel Junior Paulo out for nine NRL matches
Junior Paulo has been suspended for nine matches after failing to have a grade three dangerous throw charge downgraded at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night.
Parramatta forward Paulo pleaded guilty over the tackle on Manly’s Matt Ballin in the 29th minute of the Eels’ 42-12 win over the Sea Eagles on Friday.
He won’t be available again until Parramatta’s round 11 match with South Sydney at ANZ Stadium.

Brisbane forward James Gavet will miss three matches for a grade two shoulder charge on Souths’ Issac Luke in the Broncos’ loss to the premiers on Thursday night.
Sea Eagles interchange forward James Hasson is out for three matches for raising his knees while running at Anthony Watmough in the Eels’ big win over Manly on Friday night.
Canterbury playmaker Josh Reynolds has been sidelined for two matches for a grade two dangerous throw on Penrith’s Matt Moylan in the Panthers’s win at the foot of the mountains on Sunday.
Reynolds is expected to miss up to eight weeks with an arm injury.
