Broncos trample hapless Raiders

Brisbane have extended Canberra’s miserable run with a Dale Copley double lifting the Broncos to a 28-4 NRL victory on Monday night.
The barnstorming win at Canberra Stadium was Brisbane’s fourth straight, while it was the Raiders’ fifth loss in their last six games.
It capped off a torrid week for the Raiders in which James Tedesco publicly backflipped on a lucrative deal with the club.
Copley bagged both tries in the first half – his second double in as many weeks – although it wasn’t enough to jag him a spot in the Maroons’ 22-man Origin squad announced at halftime.
Brisbane-bound Raiders fullback Anthony Milford and Josh Papalii were named in that squad, however both were limping throughout the second half in another worrying sign for Queensland. Papalii even left the field late.
