Eels prop Mitch Allgood faces two-match ban
Parramatta prop Mitch Allgood is facing a two-match NRL suspension after being charged with a dangerous throw on Penrith’s Josh Mansour.
Allgood’s poor judiciary record has come back to bite him, with 80 carryover points from two prior non-similar offences in the past two years pushing his ban from one match to two, unless he successfully contests it.
His charge comes from an incident in the 72nd minute of his team’s heavy loss to Penrith on Friday night.
In the only other charge laid by the match video review committee on Monday, Warriors player David Fisitu’a can escape a ban for dangerous contact on Newcastle’s Josh Mantellato with an early guilty plea.
