Cate Campbell, in her last event at the Rio Olympics, has produced a stunning swim to lead Australia to a silver medal in the 4×100 medley.

She was fifth on the turn, but Campbell managed a strong finish to help her team _ Emily Seebohm Taylor, McKeown, Emma McKeon _ to second behind gold medallist USA.

Seebohm told Channel 7: “It’s really good, it’s not been my best week.

“I know how much I wanted it and trained for it and I hope I can keep improving.”

Campbell said: “It’s so satisfying. I knew I was going to be a bit behind, but I didn’t panic.”
