Two Aussies meet on F1 podium – cue, ‘shoey’

Daniel Ricciardo’s continued his larrikin ways in the Formula 1 spotlight, this time dragging Porsche driver Mark Webber into his very Australian way of celebrating a podium finish.
Ricciardo finished second at a drama–laced Belgium Grand Prix.
As Webber was interviewing winner Nico Rosberg, Ricciardo started filling his shoe with champagne – then rather than drink it himself as he did four weeks ago at the German Grand Prix, he handed it to his fellow Aussie.
Here’s that moment from YouTube:
Webber obviously held no grudges, posting on Twitter afterwards _
True blue mate…nice to be on the steps with.👊👍 https://t.co/4oPqIdYvIk

The race itself was a crazy event which saw Renault’s Kevin Magnussen escape with a limp after a high speed crash wrecked his car.
The Dane crashed into a tyre barrier out at the high-speed Eau Rouge corner at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit but climbed from the debris and was able to walk away.
Renault team principal Frederic Vasseur gave the all-clear after Magnussen was treated at a nearby hospital.
Thanks for all your messages folks! On my way home now with a sore ankle but will be ready for Monza 👍🏻👍🏻 pic.twitter.com/7CH5DttYpw

Magnussen’s crash led to a red flag to halt Sunday’s race while work was carried out to repair the tyre barrier.
Britain’s Lewis Hamilton recovered from the back row of the grid to finish third, deftly avoiding the carnage in a brilliantly planned race by him.
