That’s not a celebration… this is a celebration
When Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo has placed second in the German Grand Prix behind British driver Lewis Hamilton, he celebrated as only an Aussie can.
As winner Lewis Hamilton and third place-getter Max Verstappen celebrated with the age-old tradition of the champagne shower, Ricciardo, 27, whipped off his racing boot and drank a swig from that instead.
The gesture didn’t go down well with everyone, however, as many on Twitter failed to get the Aussie gesture.

Hamilton dominated the race to move into a 19-point lead in the championship over Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg.
He overtook Rosberg on the opening turn and controlled the race from start to finish.
Rosberg was penalised for forcing Ricciardo’s Red Bull team mate Max Verstappen off the track.
The German finished behind Ricciardo and Verstappen after being unable to make up the lost time.
The Guardian reported the reaction on Hamilton’s radio: “A beautiful start, brilliantly managed. Awesome race mate, well done.”
It topped off a perfect afternoon for Hamilton, who has put a stranglehold on the championship after a remarkable recovery from a difficult start to the season.
In seven races, he has moved from a 43-point deficit to Rosberg to his current advantage of just six points short of an entire win.
Hamilton joins the greats as three-time German GP winners: Ayrton Senna, Jackie Stewart, Juan Manuel Fangio and Fernando Alonso.
