‘Wait a minute…’ stadium plays wrong anthem

But things fell flat even before a ball had been kicked, when stadium staff played the wrong national anthem.

Socceroos draw a blank in Macedonia

Things didn’t get any better for El Salvador once the match started. They went down 2-0 to the World Cup runners-up.

Event company CMS Sports took “full responsibility for the honest mistake”.
