Socceroos coach Ange Postogoclou said he was proud of the team who are beginning to prove themselves as a force on the international soccer stage.
“They were magnificent. They took it to a world class team. It’s easy for me to talk about self-belief, but they are the ones who have got to do it, and full credit to them, but I feel bitterly disappointed that they weren’t able to get some reward out of it.”
The Socceroos will play against Spain on Tuesday, 24th June in another red-eye 2am game.
