A group of young long-range basketball fanatics have set a new world record for the longest shot, sinking a bucket from the top of Tasmania’s Gordon Dam.

The Dam is 126.5m high, and the ball is at the mercy of the wind during it’s descent.

The group are behind the YouTube channel How Ridiculous.

There was no mention of how many attempts it took before they finally made the shot.
