New homes for Ray, Adcock as Pies re-sign pair
Farren Ray will continue his AFL career at a third club after North Melbourne picked him up in the rookie draft.
Ray went to North at pick No.15 on Friday after 205 games at the Western Bulldogs and St Kilda.
Another prominent name was former Brisbane captain Jed Adcock, who joined the Bulldogs with the No.46 selection.

Adcock played 206 games for the Lions.
As expected, Collingwood also kept Lachie Keeffe and Josh Thomas, who are serving anti-doping bans.
Carlton used the No.1 pick to recruit tall defender Jesse Glass-McCasker, continuing their draft strategy of focussing on key position players.
Sudanese players were a feature of the rookie draft, with North Melbourne retaining Majak Daw as his rape trial continues.
The Kangaroos had delisted him at the end of the season, but said they planned to keep him.
Essendon also recruited ruckman Gach Nyuon with their first selection at No.4 and ruck-forward Mabiol Chol went to Richmond at pick 30.
Unlike Tuesday’s drawn-out national draft, the rookie selections took just 18 minutes as clubs lodged their selections electronically.
There was no pre-season draft, with all eligible clubs deciding not to take part.
