Buddy brilliant as Swans kick away from Cats

The Swans have kicked away from the Geelong Cats in the final quarter to record an 18.12 (120) to 11.11 (77) win in Sydney.

Buddy Franklin and Luke Parker were the chief destroyers for the Swans, kicking four and five goals respectively in the 43-point win.

Parker also managed 31 disposals, while Dan Hannebery was also influential with 35 touches.

The match was closely fought for the first three quarters, with Geelong holding a one-point lead at quarter time and a nine-point advantage at half-time.

The Swans had earned a five-point buffer by the end of the third term before their strong final term.
