Pre-match fire at Subiaco Oval

AFL players and fans have been stalled after a fire ignited in a kitchen at Subiaco Oval, Perth, just hours before the match is set to kick off.
Officials said the game would still go ahead, although some seating and the John Worsfold Room would not be available.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said the fire was reported just after 1pm on Sunday and extinguished approximately 25 minutes later.
Roads surrounding the stadium remain closed.
Some Port Adelaide players were stuck outside the stadium, witnesses said.
