Michelle Payne flown to Alfred Hospital

Champion jockey Michelle Payne has been cautiously cleared of serious injury but has been flown to Melbourne for further tests.
After being kicked by the horse, Ms Payne was transported by ambulance to Mildura Base Hospital with abdominal pain.
She had scans at the Alfred Hospital on her pancreas and liver late Monday night.

Ms Payne gave an update on her condition via Twitter.

She was treated on the track by medicos and ambulance staff before being transported to hospital.
Stewards at Mildura have opened an inquiry into the incident.
