Ennis cops one-game ban for high shot
Cronulla hooker Michael Ennis will miss Sunday’s clash with Manly after failing to beat his high-tackle charge at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night.
• Daley looking to exploit selection loophole
Ennis attempted to escape a one-game ban for his grade-one careless high-tackle on North Queensland winger Matthew Wright in last Saturday’s win over the Cowboys.
However the 31-year-old will now be forced out of the meeting with the Sea Eagles, although he is now expected to fly to Coffs Harbour on Thursday morning to join the Blues camp as cover for Robbie Farah in the State of Origin side.
