He played ‘Irish’ Micky Ward in The Fighter, and actor Mark Wahlberg is certainly excited about the upcoming Floyd Mayweather v Manny Pacquiao fight.
So excited, in fact, that he has put $250,000 on Pacquiao to be the first man to defeat Mayweather when they meet in the richest fight in history in Las Vegas May 2.
Wahlberg contacted musician P Diddy on Instagram and proposed a small wager on the outcome of the fight.

Wahlberg and Diddy are not the only celebs to risk some cash on the result.

Former basketballer Shaquille O’Neill believes Mayweather will win by seventh-round knockout, and actor Jamie Foxx also feels Mayweather will be too good.
Former NBA star Charles Barkley, however, thinks Pacquiao’s aggression will get the job done.
