Abbott returns, bowls bouncer in first over
Sean Abbott has returned to cricket for the first time since Phillip Hughes’ death in New South Wales’ Sheffield Shield match against Queensland.
And he gave a positive indication about his mental state by bowling a bouncer with his fifth delivery of the day at the SCG.

Abbott dug the ball in short at Joe Burns, who ducked under it.
Abbott, an allrounder, was the fifth bowler used by New South Wales skipper Moises Henriques.
The 22-year-old’s return to cricket came two weeks to the day since he delivered the ball that felled Hughes at the SCG.
Great to hear @seanabbott77 is back so quickly! And slipped a bouncer into his first over #strongguy
