Australia is out of the FIBA World Cup in Spain after a heartbreaking 65-64 loss in the dying seconds to Turkey.

The Boomers looked in control of the match, leading 64-62 with just five seconds to go.

But a late three-pointer put the Turks ahead and, despite a late time-out, Australia was unable to fashion the shooting chance needed to regain the lead.
