Kyrgios could ditch coach
Nick Kyrgiosā coach faces an uncertain future despite guiding the teenager to the last eight at Wimbledon.
New Zealander Simon Rea has overseen the 19-year-oldās rapid rise from outside the worldās top 800 at the start of last year to the quarter-finals of a grand slam.
The Age reported on Wednesday that the relationship will end after Wimbledon, with Kyrgios keen to relocate back to his home town of Canberra, while Rea is based in Melbourne.
The AgeĀ also said Kyrgiosā junior coach Todd Larkham is expected toĀ pick up some of the slack.
Neither party has confirmed the split, however, and Kyrgios said after beating Nadal it was not an immediate focus.
āI havenāt actually had any thoughts on that at all,ā Kyrgios said.
āWe have a commitment till the end of Wimbledon.
