Rich in history, culture and diverse cuisines, there is so much to see and do in the Mediterranean that planning a holiday can quickly become an overwhelming prospect.

With Oceania Cruises, everything is taken care of from the moment you step onboard, and you don’t need to narrow yourself down to just one country. Journey across the glittering Mediterranean, stopping to marvel at Rome’s ancient colosseum one day and touring Greece’s island wineries the next.

The best bit? No hotel bookings. No car hires. Travelling by cruise you will only unpack once and wake up in a new port of call every day.

Turkish Ovation

Built in 2023, the new Oceania Vista combines luxury cruising and gourmet dining for an unforgettable voyage into the Mediterranean’s past and present.

Starting in ancient Athens, climb the Acropolis for legendary views from the Parthenon then toast the sunset as you sail towards the Cyclades. Stroll the whitewashed village of Oia, Greece, sample wines made from endemic grapes in Limassol, Cyprus, and indulge with a traditional meze banquet in historic Ephesus, Turkey.

As you sail further east, learn from your expert guides about the Byzantine, Ottoman and Roman influences that have shaped these majestic coastlines and get a taste of history on Oceania Cruises’ tailored culinary tours.

After 10 days of island-hopping from Greece to Cyprus and Turkey, finish up in the cacophony and splendour of Istanbul, and perhaps indulge with a traditional Turkish bath.

There is just as much to see on the ship as on land. Vista features dramatic new signature spaces, including a glittering martini bar replete with a grand piano, and a beach club pool deck that brings a tropical touch to the Mediterranean. Vista is also the first Oceania Cruises ship to feature new Concierge Level Veranda Staterooms dedicated to solo travellers.

Blooming Mediterranean

Expect the unexpected on a 10-day voyage from Barcelona to Rome, with stops in Mallorca, Tunisia, Malta and Greece along the way.

In bustling Barcelona, admire the grandeur of Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia then ramble down La Rambla Street in search of one of the city’s bustling tapas bars. Afterwards, set sail to Valencia and Mallorca, where you can learn the secrets behind the perfect paella at a farm visit or take a dip in clear, azure waters.

Tunis and Malta serve as worthy stepping stones from northern Africa to Italy, offering up cities where you can lose yourself in storied medinas and learn how weavers use centuries-old techniques to craft carpets. In Argostoli (Cephalonia), kayak along the dramatically coastline to explore sea caves and coves and toast the sunset with a cloudy, frosted glass of ouzo.

All roads must lead to Rome and so will yours after stopping in at coastal gems like Messina and Naples en route to the Eternal City. Listen to the whispers of history and see how migrants shaped the city over centuries, all in the shadow of the mighty Colosseum.

With two days spent at sea, there’s plenty onboard Oceania Marina to keep you entertained. Get a workout with a game of pickleball or melt into a marine detox wrap at Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center.

Meanwhile, a state-of-the-art cooking school onboard allows guests to hone their cooking skills under the guidance of an expert chef and try their hand at dishes they have seen on their travels ashore.

Oceania Cruises’ newest March offer is here! For the month of March, you can save up to 40% per stateroom on a fantastic array of 2024 sailings.
