America decides: Wild scenes as Biden ousts Trump in US election
Americans have taken to the streets in droves to celebrate – and, in some cases, protest – Joe Biden’s win over Donald Trump in the presidential election.
While Mr Trump is still refusing to concede, Mr Biden and his team are preparing to name a cabinet and are moving into transmission mode ahead of the January 20 inauguration ceremony.
Mr Trump played golf again on Sunday (local time), amid reports his wife Melania and son-in-law Jared Kushner had tried to convince him to acknowledge the election loss.
