Multiple outlets report that Bali police were targeting illegal prostitution when they raided The Pink Palace Spa operated by Michael and Lynley Le Grand.

A Bali police spokesman told the ABC officers seized items as evidence, including lingerie, condoms and massage oil.

Police allege the venue was offering sex for paying customers, writes the ABC.

“The modus operandi is to offer massage services with various sensations in the Pink Palace, starting from 1 million to 2.5 million rupiah ($95 to $236),” Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant I Ketut Suarnaya, told the broadcaster.

In 2022, Michael Jerome Le Grand was arrested for allegedly soliciting gambling when he was director of a new sports bar in Bali.
