Donald Trump accused of harassment by wife of NHL great

The wife of Hall of Fame ice hockey player Luc Robitaille has accused Donald Trump of making an aggressive sexual advance on her more than two decades ago in an elevator at Madison Square Garden.

Stacia Robitaille posted on Twitter that Mr Trump “was aggressive & told me I was coming home with him”.

“I laughed, stating I was married to a Ranger. He guaranteed me my husband didn’t make as much money as him. #ThisIsOurPresident.”

Luc Robitaille, who played fin the NHL from 1986 to 2006 and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009, married Stacia in 1992.

He is currently is president of the Los Angeles Kings franchise.

Stacia Robitaille responded to criticism in a second tweet Thursday, saying: “I’m not a liberal lefty and I’m not looking for attention. Just felt bad keeping it to myself.”

Ms Robitaille’s claim of the unwanted advances comes two days after three women who had previously accused Mr Trump of sexual harassment reiterated their allegations on NBC’s Today.

The women, united for the first time since the 2016 presidential campaign, repeated their accounts of being groped, fondled and forcibly kissed by the businessman-turned-politician and called for a Congressional investigation into the allegations.

The President responded to their claims, tweeting he was the target of “fake news”.

Mr Trump branded the accusations as a political attack by the Democrats after they were “unable to show any collusion with Russia” despite “thousands of hours wasted and many millions of dollars spent”.

“So now they are moving on to the false accusations and fabricated stories of women who I don’t know and/or have never met. FAKE NEWS!” Mr Trump posted.
