Some of the victims who lost their lives in the Manchester terror attack at a packed Ariana Grande concert earlier this week have been named.

Among them children as young as eight years old attending their first ever concert, as well as parents who were coming to pick up their children.

Twenty-two people were killed and 64 others injured when a suicide bomber struck.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed overnight that one of the victims was a police officer, but did not name them after a request from the family.
